The KB2 is a compact full QWERTY keyboard for use in industrial and other harsh environments. The membrane keys provide positive tactile feedback. The KB2 is fully sealed to IP66. Construction is die-cast aluminium, powder coated and painted (standard) or stainless steel (optional). The KB2 is ideally suited to operator interface requirements in the mining, marine, defence, petrochemical and food manufacturing industries as well as in medical operating theatres, process plants, flour mills, cement works and smelters. The KB2 is an Australian product, designed and manufactured in Australia by APC Technology.

The KBIM2 is a industrial keyboard for rugged conditions. The KBIM2 provides a full QWERTY keyboard with an integral joystick. It is designed for industrial environments and is fully sealed. The joystick uses a patented opto-strain-gauge technology providing both an ergonomic and very durable pointing device. The joystick also incorporates a ëclick in the stick, further enhancing its ergonomics.

The joystick can be held between the fingers or used as a finger/thumb pad. The keys are hard wearing membrane type with tactile feedback.
 
Construction is die-cast aluminium, powder-coated and painted (standard) or stainless steel (optional). The joystick emulates a MicrosoftÆ Mouse. It connects to a serial or PS/2 port. The KBIM2 is ideally suited to operator interface requirements in the mining, marine, defence, petrochemical and food manufacturing industries as well as in medical operating theatres, process plants, flour mills, cement works and smelters.

The KBIM2-IS is a full QWERTY PC keyboard with integral mouse for use in industrial environments. The unit is intrinsically safe, protected via safety barriers, and is suitable for use in Class 1 Zone 0 hazardous areas. The unit is sealed to IP65. The KBIM2-IS is fully welded from stainless steel. The membrane is covered with a conductive stainless steel shim to prevent static build up. The unit requires only a single dual channel barrier. Ideally suited to operator interface requirements in mining, oil and gas industries with potential explosive atmospheres.
