The PC414 is a fully sealed shoebox size industrial computer designed for use in rugged environments, with its construction effectively sealing the computer components from potentially damaging dust and moisture. The integral heatsink allows internally generated heat to be efficiently dissipated The PC414 incorporates a 6 slot PCI/ISA passive backplane (6 slot ISA optional). A full range of 60oC rated processors and other boards are available. The passive backplane provides easy maintenance and a simple upgrade path. The FDD and optional CD-ROM are accessed via a sealed door. The unit has substantial defences against vibration and shock: there are shock mounts for HDD and FDD; our unique multipoint board clamping system is used; and the whole unit is fitted with anti-vibration mounts. The PC414 is an Australian product designed and manufactured in Australia by APC Technology, an Australian-owned company with a great track record.
